PRIVACY STATEMENT

BLiNCH considers your privacy as important as you do.
Therefore, we do everything we can to treat the personal information you provide to us confidentially and in accordance with European legislation concerning the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Scope and Acceptance of this Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement is about the (online) collection and storage of data for and by BLiNCH (BLINCH.be). It specifically addresses the types of information we collect from you while you use our website 'BLINCH.be' or the services and/or programs offered (both paid and free), and how we use and process that information. By using the website 'BLiNCH.be,' you agree that BLiNCH records this data to make your experience more customer-friendly. Below, we explain how we handle information from visitors, customers, when someone fills in their details on these websites, etc.

Processing Personal Data

We do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Statement unless we have obtained your explicit prior consent. Such consent may be inferred from the fact that you send us a question by email or otherwise. Only if you have given explicit consent do we use your email address, first name, and last name to possibly send newsletters with free valuable & enriching information and inspiration. This Privacy Statement shares how your data or information shared with us is used. This Privacy Statement applies to the use of the information you share with us: online when you visit the website associated with BLiNCH, i.e., www.BLiNCH.be; offline when you share information with us, for example, when you give us your first name, last name, and email address at an event because you want to receive our newsletter or information. By visiting our website, you agree to this Privacy Statement and the Terms and Conditions that apply to our website. Also, when you share data with us offline, you agree to this Privacy Statement.

What Information Do We Collect?

On our website, we collect and/or receive two types of information:

  1. Personal data that you actively provide to us: When you send a question via the contact form on our website, we ask you to share your details with us, such as your first name, last name, and email address. You can always visit our website anonymously, as we do not collect personal information when you visit the website unless you have voluntarily shared it with us via the contact form. We use an email system for processing these forms. This means that this email system also receives your data. They are, of course, also bound by European Privacy Legislation (GDPR) and will thus treat your data accordingly. When you use our services and would like an invoice (upon request), we ask for your first name, last name, email address, company name, street address, and VAT number. We ask for your street address to make up your invoice neatly and to send any physical products.

  2. Data automatically transmitted to us for technical reasons: Additionally, when visiting our website, some technical data is automatically provided by your computer and equipment to our computer, such as the IP address used, the operating system, and the internet browser used. These data are used for analyses of visit and click behavior on the website (also see the section on Google Analytics below). BLiNCH uses this information to improve the functioning of the website. These data are anonymized as much as possible.

Google Analytics

BLiNCH uses Google Analytics to track how users use the website and thus make the functioning of our website more user-friendly. The information obtained, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Read Google's privacy policy for more information; you will also find Google Analytics' privacy policy there. Google uses this information to keep track of how my website is used, to provide reports on the website to BLiNCH. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. BLiNCH has no influence on this. BLiNCH has not given Google permission to use the Analytics information obtained via the website 'www.BLINCH.be' for other Google services.

What Happens If You Do Not Provide Us with Your Data?

If I am unable to use your data, you will not be able to use the service that keeps you informed of developments, news, and offers; you will not be able to purchase services (both paid and free); you will not be able to access additional content (both paid and free) of certain programs; you will not be able to fill out a form; you will not be able to give feedback on blog/vlog posts, and you will not be able to access additional material (both paid and free).

How We Use Your Data

The information collected from you may be used for the following purposes: to personalize your experience, to improve our website, to enhance customer service, to conduct (payment) transactions, to send emails, to grant access to purchased services and/or programs, to grant access to additional content (paid or free) of a specific program or service. We email you to deliver the services you have purchased, such as the booking link(s) with accompanying confirmation and reminder emails for scheduling and efficient progress of your individual sessions in our agenda, the (optional) invoice, and updates. We may also send you a newsletter with free valuable and enriching updates, information & inspiration if you have purchased a product or service from us. We email you (if you have not purchased a service or program) only if you have explicitly given permission via the form on our website. We use your data to provide you with (possible) support and information for services and programs you have purchased. We may also email you to ask for feedback on our services and programs.

How Do We Protect Your Data?

We use several security measures to protect your data. For example, we work with the protected secure server of the hosting company we collaborate with, and your data is stored in a secure database. On our website, the data you share with us is sent to us via a secure connection (SSL), so all sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We use the necessary certificates to protect your stored data. And your payment details and transactions run safely via reliable parties. We would like to point out that all these involved parties are also bound by European Privacy Legislation (GDPR) and will thus treat your data accordingly.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

Your data is stored as long as you remain subscribed to our main mailing list and have not unsubscribed or as long as you have a service running (both paid and free). Invoice (and accounting) data: legally, we are required to keep invoices for 10 years. This means that your invoice (and accounting) data will also remain in the systems we use for that period. Accessing and Modifying the Information You Shared

If you have registered on our website, we will email you to ensure that you can receive what we promised you. We use an email system for this purpose. This means that this email system also receives your data. We process these data for you as long as you are on our mailing list and have not unsubscribed. This email system used for this purpose is, of course, also bound by European Privacy Legislation (GDPR) and will thus treat your data accordingly. You can view, modify, or erase your stored data at any time. You do this in the following ways.

Viewing and Modifying Data
The data you have provided to us can be requested and modified at any time by sending an email to: contact@blinch.be.
Deleting Data

You can easily unsubscribe yourself by sending an email to contact@blinch.be. Once you have unsubscribed and also have no paid services running, your data will be completely deleted within one month. You cannot unsubscribe from communication and emails required to complete your purchase process; otherwise, we may not be able to deliver (part of) the services to you, and that would be a shame. Payment and booking data: you can view, modify or erase your payment and booking data by sending an email to: contact@blinch.be stating what you want. You will then receive an overview of the data stored for you, where either your data will be modified or your data will be erased, depending on your email request. Invoice (and accounting) data: legally, we are required to keep invoices for 10 years. This means that your invoice (and accounting) data will also remain in the systems we use for that period.

Do We Share Your Information with Third Parties?

We do not sell, trade, provide, share, or give your personal data to anyone, except in exceptional situations where it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (e.g., a judicial investigation). However, there are third parties involved with BLiNCH that support us in making our website operational (BLiNCH.be), executing ordered services and/or programs (both paid and free), and the administrative and financial matters surrounding BLiNCH. These third parties are also bound by the new European Privacy Law - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will thus treat your data accordingly.
